How I feel


Everybody, even grown ups experience a whole range of feelings. It's normal to sometimes feel sad, or happy, or excited, or worried, or a whole mix of everything! There are some simple things we can do to help calm us down if we're feeling a bit sad or worried.


Breathing is a great one, as you don't need any special tools or equipment, just yourself!  Box breathing is a great thing to practice as it can help you feel calm and more in control of your feelings and it's as easy as 1,2,3.

How I move


Getting our bodies moving helps keep us healthy and happy. Physical movement helps your body to grow strong bones, muscles and joints.


It also helps keep you flexible and have great balance!


Try to do some simple physical movement or exercise everyday. Simple things like playing on the playground with your friends or walking your dog will work! Think about what activities you could do with the people you care about. What could you do with your friends? What activities could you and your whānau do together?

How I fuel my body


Your body needs the right kind of fuel to keep you moving, grow strong healthy muscles and bones, and help you feel happy and healthy.


What we eat can make a big difference to how much energy we have, and how our bodies grow.


Fresh fruit and vegetables are fantastic for our bodies. They are packed full of the vitamins and minerals we need to grow. There are some easy ways to eat more fruit and vegetables.
