General Practice Fees
General Practice clinics have a whole range of services and care. There are many people who can help you and it is much more than booking to see a doctor or nurse practitioner. . General Practices are individual businesses. Fees will vary between General Practices for services to enrolled and casual unenrolled patients. Fees may also vary according to age groups, opening hours, community service card holders or for some specific services.
Most General Practices in the MidCentral district accept the Community Services Card (CSC) to help lower the costs of health care for some people and families. Participating CSC practices are identified in the table below. These practices will charge CSC holders up to $19.50 for a standard General practice consult, CSC holders between 14 years to 17 years will be charged up to $13.00. Specific fee structures are published below. You may also contact your General Practice team for more information on their service fees.
