Bridget Bellhouse

I completed my Bachelor of Nursing in 1998, and have spent the last 20 years working with children, in Palmerston North, Ireland and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. When the older children were younger, I did permanent night shifts on the Children’s Ward and also worked at UCOL as a lecturer in Early Childhood, and was a clinical lecturer for the nursing team. In 2014 I came to the Child Health Community Team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist which, is where I realised my passion for working in the community. I completed my Masters in Health Practice last year, and became a Nurse Practitioner in February of this year.
